I thought I was being a good samaritan this afternoon, as we arrived home a young women acting distressed asked if she could use the phone as her husband had been knocking her around and she thought she had a broken rib.

I phoned the police and it turns out I am one of a long list, she has been working the area for a couple of weeks and I was the 4th one to report it today.
CID came around and did the forensics, Finger prints and DNA on the glass, they believe they know who it is they just have to catch her.
Apparently one of her earlier victims was injured, so I suppose I should feel lucky but I felt sick and stupid.

My Blogs seem to be nothing but talking about Death.
At the weekend one of my cousins died tragically in a house fire.
He is the third from the same family to pass in the last 10 years.
One went aged 36 from Diabetes.
Next was aged 23 in the Twin Towers.
Third, aged 50, from smoke inhalation.

Bert has gone, he died peacefully on Sept 14th and was cremated yesterday.
He is know at peace.

Bert is having quite regular Mini Strokes now and it has become very hard to determine what he is saying,
He was initially given between 6 weeks - 6 months to live, he has completed 4 months so far.

As you all know my Friend has a Brain Tumour, he did rally for a while, he was put on a high dosage of Steroids and was almost back to his old self, but this last 10 days he has been going down hill and I don't think he will be with us for much longer.
He has said himself 'I'll be glad when it's all over'
He has lost most of his sight now and is bedridden.

I heard yesterday that my friend has a Brain Tumor and that it is inoperable.
Life Sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Went to Hastings for the May Bank Holiday Weekend
It was the 25th Anniversary of the Jack in the Green Festival
Fantastic weekend and the weather was scorching, up in the 70's
The Bikers were out in force......I have seen them on a Bank holiday but not as many as there was on Monday.....Thousands, I kid you not.........they were even parked on the cross hatching in the middle of the roads.

I spent today with my Friend Jan and her Father,he is in the early stages of Dimenture. It has been a very tiring day.
I hope I never get like it but then I can't remember a lot of things anyway.
My theory is there is something in the Water.....we all drink it one way or another and be honest it dosen't seem to make any difference wether your young or old everyone complains of memory loss.

WoW, What a fantastic day, Blue Skies and lots and lots of warm Sunshine, made me realise that Spring has arrived and Summer won't be to far away........................

Is it just me....I have been feeling so tired lately.
Mornings are the worst,once I hit midday I start feeling better and about four o'clock I'm ready to rock.

I awoke again this morning to a crisp blanket of frost everywhere, how beautiful, and then the Sun came up and it is another gloriously warm day.
It even gave me the insentive to clean my windows,not only inside but out as well, truly a sign that Spring must surely be just around the corner.

I have been and said Goodbye to my friend today.
She had a Humanist funeral,it was lovely and afterwards Balloons were released.
At the Wake the family had put together copies of photo's of Avril from different stages of her life and everyone was invited to take a picture if they wanted.
Queen's music played throughout with her favourite song being one of them "Who wants to Live Forever"
Her final words were 'I am going to Heaven' and I'm sure she has.She was such a caring person, always wore a smile and her Laughter was so infectious.
Bless you Avril.............You will be missed..................but never forgotten.

I have had a call from my Friends son to say she has passed away.
She was a wonderful person, she had been suffer ing from Multiple Sclerosis for a few years, but took each day in her stride, even the bad ones.
A couple of months ago she had a stroke andit was discovered that she had a Tumour on her Brain.
About a fortnight ago she was operated on and seemed to be doing just fine.....................
I am sure she is now in a better place and pain free......................

It was a long cold wet weekend.
I didn't have any enthusiasm to do anything.
But today, Brilliant, the Sun has been shining all day long.
So it made me think of Spring and what happens then........ Spring cleaning......of course.
I think I put my back out. lol.
Still it was worth it.
Back to Rain tomorrow and the rest of the week...........Oh Joy.

Well I keep playing with this space trying to get it looking ok.
I am quite happy with it at the moment,the only trouble is I can't get any Music

Oh what a fantastic week,blue skies and sunshine and a hint that Winter is just around the corner.
I think I have got my seasons mixed up as I have actually been Spring cleaning,having a good old rummage
and getting rid of the rubbish,but if you are like me then always something goes back in the cupboard because
it might just come in.

I have been playing around with this space for a few days,trying to make it look appealing but not knowing if I am succeeding.
I am sure there is probably more to discover,how to make things move excetera,one day I shall be satisfied with my efforts (here's hoping anyway) any thoughts and ideas from others would be greatfully appreciated.
